Weeks ago, Chris Baran, our National Director of Construction and his family learned about the dire need of masks for local nurses and hospitals due to the surge of COVID-19 cases. They saw pleas on Facebook from local nurses at their local Chicago area hospitals. As a family, they came together and have created over 1,000 masks for the local community. Regarding his wife and sister-in-law's efforts, Chris said, “The time goes by fast, they are keeping their distancing, creating memories, and serving those who are in desperate need. All the materials have been either donated by friends and families that have heard what they are doing, and they have received some monetary donations to buy different items from Michael's etc.” Local nurses have been so grateful, they run over to their house to pick up the mask once they are ready. We are in awe of their dedication and hard work serving their community during this difficult time.
